Amicable and exceptional staff who were always there to help. Double room was with an iron and ironing board, multi-channel television, and a coffee maker. Plenty of food at breakfast like cereal, toast and fruit.

The location is glorious, the staff is very attentative and gardens are gorgeous. Good food including tasteful breakfast with fresh fruit, bread, meats, bakery and cheese. An astonishing beach, unbelievable view.

It was a decent stay, I recommend this place. Silent rooms, very responsive staff, lovely beds. The staff created a quiet atmosphere. Marina view was pleasant and location was unbelievable. Plus I reached an eclectic local-history museum in 5 minutes by foot.

Relaxing 4-star experience. The people there were really welcoming. Marvellous location, good for visiting Whitby. Breakfast was excellent, we greatly enjoyed it.

we loved our stay and will choose it for sure next trip. we had a beautiful view of the abbey from our window. moreover, it had public parking for drivers. great location, 10 min walking distance to west cliff beach.

Favourable location, EXCELLENT breakfast. A wide range of restaurants to eat close by, like Magpie Cafe that was only 5 minutes' walk away. Positioned 5 mins on foot from whitby abbey, the venue was also very close to many other major attractions. We appreciated waverley guest house.
